PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ACT 4 OF 2013 (“POPIA”) POLICY
1. Purpose
This Policy governs the manner in which Corrugreen collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes the Personal Information of Customers and Service Providers, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). Corrugreen respects the privacy of its Customers and Service Providers. For this reason, Corrugreen will take all reasonable measures, in accordance with this Policy, to protect Personal Information and keep it confidential.
2. Information Processing Terms and Definitions
POPIA makes use of certain terms and references that are used in this Policy, which are explained below:
- 2.1. “Company” means the Corrugreen CC subsidiary, as well as associated or affiliated companies.
- 2.2. “Consent” means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the Data Subject’s wishes by which they, either by a statement or by a clear positive action, signify agreement to the Processing of Personal Information about them.
- 2.3. “Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person, and where applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person, including but not limited to contact details, financial records, and identifying numbers.
- 2.4. “Personnel” means Company directors, shareholders, employees, and any other person who may Process Personal Information on behalf of Corrugreen.
- 2.5. “Processing” means the collection, receipt, recording, collation, storage, updating, modification, retrieval, alteration, consultation, or use of Personal Information. It also includes dissemination, merging, linking, restriction, erasure, or destruction of information, whether physical, manual, or automatic.
- 2.6. “Records” means all documents and data formats (regardless of medium) held, created, used, or processed by Corrugreen that contain Personal Information.
3. Scope And Application
- 3.1. This Policy applies to any persons who Process Personal Information on behalf of Corrugreen, including Company directors, shareholders, employees, and operators (collectively referred to as “Personnel”).
- 3.2. When a Customer or Service Provider visits the Corrugreen website, communicates electronically with Corrugreen, or uses Corrugreen’s services, they consent to the processing and transferring of their Personal Information as set out in this privacy statement.
- 3.3. All Personnel must ensure that they do not send unsolicited spam or communication, nor share a Customer’s data with any unauthorized third party.
4. What Information Corrugreen Collects
Corrugreen collects the following information provided on a voluntary basis:

- 4.2. Identity documents and company VAT numbers
- 4.3. Details pertaining to our customers, their shareholders, and their sureties
- 4.4. Forms and documents signed in relation to goods sold
- 4.5. Payment history and credit data
- 4.6. Any other business information furnished by the Customer or Service Provider
5. Use of Information
Corrugreen will only process Personal Information that is adequate, relevant, and necessary for the specific purposes for which it was collected.
6. Disclosure of Information
6.1. No Personnel may disclose a Customer’s or Service Provider’s Personal Information to third parties unless one of the following applies:
- 6.1.1. The Customer has explicitly consented thereto.
- 6.1.2. Corrugreen is required to do so by law.
- 6.1.3. The disclosure is made to Corrugreen’s authorized Service Providers who are directly involved in the delivery of services to the Customer.
- 6.1.4. The disclosure is necessary for Corrugreen to perform credit checks on the Customer.
6.2. Any Personal Information disclosed by Personnel outside of the provisions listed above will be regarded as a contravention of this POPIA Policy and may constitute a dismissible offense

7.1. Corrugreen’s Information Officer is available to discuss any privacy-related matters and to manage the Personal Information of Corrugreen’s Customers and Service Providers.

2. I agree to abide by the terms set out in the POPIA Policy and all associated Corrugreen policies.
3.
